There have been a variety of changes from 2019. If you have platinum status there is a new category if you have between 150, 000 and 299,000 points. Each category also has more complimentary nights than last year. The last change is that there is now no reservation fee when booking a MAXtime booking.

I saw that. I'm at 272,000 and was hoping to be able to take advantage, but its only for points purchased directly from them. I suppose I could pick up another contract from them and have the bridge the points, but its probably not worth it.

You may want to do a sales presentation and see if they are still selling the 30,000 point package(It would be trust points). I finally converted to points last year with a 30,000 point purchase and am now in the 300,000-499,000 platinum status. I love the 2 free upgrades, 5 complimentary nights and no reservation fee for MAXtime bookings. I had bought my original 2 weeks at Orange Lake from the developer in 2000 and 2001.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the 30K plus conversion?

I’ve mentioned it before and I really hope I’m right
Lately we have had a lot of interaction with upper management, most my wife
They’ve asked for our input on several things and we’ve expressed what changes we feel will help bring value to the brand

Not that we have made any ground breaking suggestions but to us any way it feels as if they are wanting to have a better product and are looking for ideas to make that happen

We have a mitt full of points and not sure if it’s our level or what??
But HICV has really impressed us this past year and as mentioned changes seem to be coming. Doubt it’s us. But hope this is the direction they seem taking for all!!

I paid .22 per point/$6,600. I own a week 51 and 52 so I now have 387,000 points and an additional 182,000 every five years since I get the week 53 points for free.

Sorry, I meant non-Platinum status - no changes to original status (which is what I have). What's required to get Platinum status - is it a trust purchase?
