One of our two Shell resorts was Paniolo Greens, the other was Holua Resort. Wyndham took them both back without a problem. A summary of our experience is here:

Lucky you! I called today to start that process (no weeks available Oct/Nov/Dec, but listed available on various travel sites?) - they aren't doing it anymore.

Our circumstances changed dramatically! I knew I could no longer afford the MF's on our two timeshares and due to the type of circumstance, I knew I would probably never go back to our beloved Paniolo Greens TS on the Big Island. So, I found a thread on TUG about Wyndham Deed-back. They were very kind and helpful and I was able to give back our two TS's with absolutely no cost to me. I will miss Hawaii, but it would not be the same. So very grateful for the deed back program.
