[2015] History of Marriott DC Point Price increases

A price increase? Really, if customer/users were having difficulty getting value out of even discounted $17.72 points, would I as a customer want to pay more. Think about it, 5,000 points for a week reservation at OceanWatch if you can get it "and" you then pay the annual maintenance fee on the 5,000 points. Or, you can rent the unit without an upfront cash outlay and without maintenance fees which for about $3,300 in the high season. Are we all nuts?

Are you aware of any increase beyond the $17.72 price?

No, not yet. Last price increase to $17.72 was effective Sept 30th of last year with a forecast next increase on or before Jan 30th - Oct 2024 email from my sales guy. Presentation in May, said price increase was coming and should buy now. Maybe price at current level has peaked them out - hope so.

Not all but the people who buy anything directly from MVC are probably not TUG members!
