Does anyone know what happened to this lady, Kendra? I randomly found a few of threads and thought that the situation was really sad... anyone have updates?

She hasn't been back to TUG since 2011 - you can click on her blue user name and send her an email.

I was in contact with Kendra and planned on going to trial as it was moved to Denver.

However, she settled out of Court and was sworn to secrecy. She cannot even whisper Wyndham under her breath.

Last e-mail from her was about a year ago and she was traveling.

I'm glad they settled with her and probably gave her something for it. 14 million points is astounding. Hope she's doing well.

So much for everything she said in her first post.

The possibility that Wyndham may have had to answer court orders for information may very well have contributed to them deciding to settle before the courts got involved.

By adding those points in her original post, her case could only be helped and she did what she had to do.

As we've seen in other posts, when Wyndham does settle with someone they get sworn to secrecy. The big bullies can be beaten but the hush money keeps us from hearing the details.

It was sad to read through the entire thread, but it seems a happy ending as she is financially able and enjoys traveling. Sounds kinda like a movie scene...

JMHO, a lesson should be learnt from her case that never over leveraged your finance...

I agree, and I'm impressed actually. She initiated litigation pro se, incurred no attorneys' fees costs and forced Wyndham to keep having to pay for Colorado attorneys. I'm sure that factored into the settlement motivation for Wyndham---they probably ended up paying her a small percentage of what they would have eventually paid their attorneys had the thing gone to trial. Good for her, and I guess, good for them too.

Kendra is doing fine. Lives in Time Shares year around and world wide courtesy of Fairfield. I believe she is still doing rentals and living the life of a nomad. She's in Mexico for the time being.
