Has anyone had any dealings with buying a timeshare from Holiday Resales in Seattle. WA? Appreciate any info. Thanks.

I have used Emily at Holiday and thought that she (and Holiday) did a very good job. Don't pay too much though. Prices are very negotiable.

I used them to buy our current t/s and found them to be very satisfactory.

We used them (Joni) to buy a week and very satisfied. They are having a big end of the year sale right now on most of their inventory.

I've used Sandy at Holiday and she has been fantastic to deal with. Upfront and willing to help you with whatever you are looking for. A+

Not sure if they're still doing it, but they were offering a $200 discount to TUG members. Tell them you're a member and ask for the discount.

Holiday is a reputable reseller. They are probably one of the larger resale outfits around, which means that: a) the quality of service you receive may depend on whom you are working with; and b) they are not a "fly-by-night" outfit so if you have a problem they will likely work with you to get it resolved.

We've worked with Le there in the past and did not have any problems.

I bought one of our first timeshares from them in 1996 and several more in subsequent years. All went well each time. They were one of about 3 reputable resale companies with a web presence at the time.

I have used Sandy several times for purchases and have been very satisfied with their service although closing can sometimes be slow, however the last purchase I made went through quicker than promised.:hi:

I bought 4 from them and they were fine. It depend on who you deal with and some reps are better than others. I have learned to double check facts since they are often a clearly house of traded in timeshares so have found on a couple of occassions that the information was not completely correct. But if they are not correct, they are pretty good about correcting when brought to their attention.

The $395 closing was a bit high since I was buying a points membership but since I bought 3 of the same thing at the same time, they only charged me one closing and the $395 for the other bought at a different time. If you factor in the closing cost into your total costs and are still happy with it, that is fine.

I worked with Sandy on my very first t/s purchase, and she was terrific. There was some minor discrepency in what was advertised and what I actually got, but it essentially made no difference because it was at one of those places where if you buy at one location, you are a member of the resort chain and can go anywhere. (And she told me that.)

I think it was Monica who referred me to TUG, and it has been a great resource and community for me since that first purchase 6 years ago. Thanks, Monica and the TUG team!

I have used Holiday group many times. Both the company and bought from them on ebay. I am using Sharon right now. Very easy to deal with.
Like all timeshare especially resale, make sure you check all documents you can get your hands on. Holiday usually has copies of the orgininal contract that they can black out owners names and give you the information. Please ask tons of questions and check everything out totally.

Hi

We have bought 5 timeshare thru holiday(Joni) and had no trouble. The only problem is that they take a long to close and get the deeds recorded. Prices are good but lately we have found better prices on ebay.
