13 month reservation window on leapday??

I am trying to help a friend who owns multiple weeks so (I think) is entitled to a 13 month in advance booking.

First day of Gold season for him is March 29

So I assumed he should be able to reserve today Feb 29

But the website says he is not within his reservation window -- Is this a leapday problem, or do I misunderstand??

I believe he has to call a VOA if he wants to do the 13 month booking as a weeks owner.
 
He can use the 13-mos window as long as he is booking two or more concurrent or consecutive weeks. But it's not possible to book online at the 13-mos mark - for those reservations you have to call in to Owner Services.

Depending on which resorts he owns and which weeks he wants to book, he can use this link to the Call-In Date calendars to figure out when he should call.

Yep - it is today.

You can only make 13-month reservations over the phone - not online.

I called in this morning to get 13-month reservations for check-in on March 30, 2013.
