Annual use Marriott grande vista, it is part of the Florida club(we booked ocean front at ocean pointe for 2025 usage in late June).

Annual fees for 2025 were $1957, first usage and fees for new owner in 2026.
Buyer to pay closing and rofr. Any questions, just ask!

Bumping this back up! We used the Florida club to book a late June ocean front week at ocean pointe for our usage this year!

I am surprised you haven't found anyone to take this yet. Our gold weeks still trade great!

Is this a dedicated 2BR or a lock off?

I am certainly confused by the responses to the lockoff question. I thought if you wanted a 2br trader that could lockoff into a studio and 1br (to trade independently) that you had to buy a deeded lockoff.

Unless it's a fixed week, fixed unit deed for a unit that is not a lock-off, the deed just has to be for a resort that does have lock-offs. Some deeds don't have the ability to lock-off because all the units at their particular resort were built as standalone 2BRs/3BRs, etc. Luckily, those resorts are less common in the Marriott system. If you have a deed that has a mix of lock-off and standalone 2BR units, the ability to lock-off is more subject to availability of lock-offs remaining for the particular weeks you want to reserve.

Is this 2BR week eligible to lock off and split so I can deposit the two separate rooms into II for trading?

Yes, however it is subject to availability at the time you attempt to book the week each year. If a lock off is available and you want for the date you are booking then it is yours if you request it.

.

i understand that the deeded units a GV are in a season- but I thought that the actual unit number on the deed matters.

I have seen many posts over the years about which GV units for sale are lockoff units based on the unit number - because they want a unit that can lockoff.

@dioxide45 - would you please confirm since your post makes it sound like it does not matter (and there have been many emails about which GV units for sale are lockoffs)

Grande Vista is a floating unit system. So the unit number only matters in terms of the size (1BR, 2BR or 3BR) and if it is in the Florida Club. If you own a deeded non lock off unit number, you can float and book into a lock off unit. The opposite is also true. Both options are available when making a reservation. This is true of all resorts that float with the unit.

Thanks!

So if you are to going to trade in Interval, how does this work? Specially do you have to reserve a physical unit within Marriott before you deposit to Interval (and pay the lockoff fee)?

Yes and you should try to reserve the week with the highest TDI.
