Hi, we're headed to Legends Edge in Panama City March 3 for a week. We've never been. What is there to do? See? Eat?

Also, is one building better for a water view than the other?

Thanks in advance!

St Andrew’s State Park has a spectacular beach! Also the area is known for several excellent golf courses.

Sharkys is a great beach restaurant. Pub food with live music. Pier Park is neat to explore, food and shopping galore.
Driving into Destin/Sandestin is nice. There is a great outlet mall there as well

Over the years I've read about Destin. Didn't Disney start a community there?

I believe you are thinking about DVC’s resort in Vero Beach, it is spectacular.

The other resort you may be thinking of, is the once Club Intrawest resort in Sandestin, then called Diamond and Embarc, and now called Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Sandestin.

You might also be thinking of Seaside
Nothing to do with Disney but a very interesting planned community
IMHO well worth the trip to go and see

The drive down 30A is very interesting, especially if one plans to meander over to the Desin area (Outlets, McGuire's). Haven't been to the Museum at Eglin AFB but others have said well worth a stop.

It looks like we might have missed you. Thought our stay perhaps only overlapped for a couple days. I am curious what you thought of the property. So far, there isn't much in the immediate area except some 80s era condos and townhomes. It is at least a five to ten minute drive to get to a grocery store. I went to Winn-Dixie and Publix. Both smelled of seafood when you walked in the door. Yuck. Publix was worse.

As for restaurants, we don't eat out much but did go to Margaritaville because we had some vouchers from a Wyndham presentation. We found it better than we had expected. Though it is spring break and there are a lot of college kids in town, so the restaurant was packed on a Monday night. We also found Los Rancheros Mexican Restaurant in PCB to be quite good. They have a location in Panama City too, but the one in PCB seems to be closer.

Thank you for your recent video on this property as I simply couldn't find any decent YouTube videos on it. I hope you create a video on the villas as well.

I should have a villa tour video in a couple weeks.

How far is it from the property? I looked on Google Maps and it looked pretty close.
The state park is litterally just across the bay, but since there is no boat or ferry service over there, you have to drive around. Probably about 10-15 minute drive.

The villa layouts are different depending on which building you stay in. They are all 2 BR. The Azelea Building has a smaller balcony than Bluebell building. Inside, the living rooms have a little different layout but they are both nice.

We were in Azelea and noticed the patio was very small compared to what I could see when looking at the other building. We were on the end facing the golf course and from what I could tell it was really the only units that didn't face the pool. While there were six floors I noticed that the ground floor didn't have a unit number and the patio looked to be stacked with appliances.

Oooh, nothing says classy like appliances stored on the patio, lol!

Not many options on the property unless you park a container to store things. Good resort and likely units under maintenance. LOL!

Hi Dioxide, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. It was a very disappointing experience. The weather was awful, Too cold with strong winds, you couldn't be outside in it. One or two days were nicer and we took a drive but for me, the beach is everything and we couldn't enjoy this because of the weather. It reminded us of Myrtle Beach which a young man we know called it the Redneck Riveria and that about sums it up. The units felt cold and uninviting, no soft furnishings that made the ambiance welcoming. No rugs to absorb sound so it echoed. We will not be returning.
