You might want to check your point total if you have canceled any wait listed properties. My point total was off and it was discovered that points were taken out of my account when I wait listed but not put back in. From comments from VOA I am guessing this has happened before. Things were corrected but it took quite a long time.

They are expecting some DC information to be available on your computer by December. Obviously this is not written in stone but at least there is some movement.

Marriott has some offers to certain members to get discounted point stays at a few properties. There is a new thread on TUG started earlier today about this subject.

To wait list you must have points actually deposited. It is not enough to have properties you could turn in for points. Also the rules related to being on a wait list inside sixty days are not real clear to me. I have the impression that if request not completed then those points are placed in the holding account for use within sixty day window. Is that correct?

Also, members have until December 31 this year to exchange their weeks for 2011 points, instead of the normal September 30 deadline. I have been told this by two VOAs a week apart, so I think it is true although I have not seen anything yet in writing confirming this.

Do you know anything about what happens to points that are on wait list inside sixty days?

Another tidbit- anyone else missing their free AC for joining DC? I have a year or two left with Interval and understand we're supposed to be getting an AC within 60 days of joining. It's past that timeframe and I called Interval a couple weeks ago. They said they are running behind in issuing ACs and they made a note of it on my account and said it would show up in my new account. Still waiting... I called because I was concerned they may have had a mixup since they assigned me two new II accounts instead of one. Now I have three accounts I have to check for my missing AC.

9/26 - Saw BocaBoy's posting below. just fyi I don't have any pending deposits. I do have a confirmed exchange to St. Thomas for 2011. I did not get the valued customer AC either.

Weimaraner, not sure if the problem you have with an extra II account is affecting you differently, but the rest of us who received these AC's (in lieu of closing our old II accounts and being issued a pro-rated refund of fees) have had them deposited into our OLD accounts. That's where you should find yours whenever II gets around to depositing it.

I am missing mine also. I called twice and each time was told that the AC would be coming soon. Then last night I called again since it was now well past 60 days and two supervisors could not agree on whether I would be getting one. The one that said no claimed it was because I had two weeks on deposit and the ACs are only for those with no weeks on deposit.

So my questions are:
1) Did those of you who got these ACs have weeks on deposit with II which pre-dated your DC enrollment?
2) What are the terms of these ACs?

It was my understanding from reading other threads that the ACs are given to those who's old II accounts would be up for closure when enrolling. Since you have deposits in your account, it can't be closed yet. The AC is there so II doesn't have to give you any cash refund.

That makes sense to me and I am fine with that if it is the rule and is consistently applied. I thought that what you describe was the rule also until II employees kept telling me that I would get one even if I had weeks on deposit. (The II part off this DC Club launch doesn't seem to be going any more professionally that the Marriott part.)
