Increase in Interval getaways

Has anyone noticed an increase, a pretty substantial one, in II getaway rates. We have been using one for nearly 5 years now the same time of the year and the same location. Last year, we paid $382; this year the rates are $582??

I was looking at an MGV get away for next fall, and have seen the price go up and down for 3 months. It has gone from $397.00 up to $577.00 and every place in between

I fully agree. I check getaways options nine months ahead of time and keep monitoring price changes. Holiday prices are always higher, often significantly higher.

II vs RCI not much different with them renting out deposits

II is getting to be like RCI with higher getaway prices and rental of deposited weeks which should be available for exchange.

I have been looking that the II Getaway deals for the Palm Desert Marriott for the summer. Last week they were about $207 for a studio.
Today I looked at them again and they have gone up about $40. What is the deal with that? they still have tons of availability. Do they usually increase them June 1st?

They must have less availability than before. Getaways are a great indicator of Supply and Demand for an area.
