Has anyone purchased/ used the Perfect Brownie Pans, advertised on TV?

I can't wait to hear how the brownies turn out in the North combo micro/convection oven. Good luck!

That is so true! I shouldn't bake brownies in that oven. I need to forget taking the ingredients and the pan, unless I can use Robert's or Emmy's oven. I can take some with me, though. I have tupperware. :D

You are welcome to bake them here. We have an electric oven. :)

It was a crazy idea to bring the pan with me. I told Rick we should bring our pan, and he thought I was nuts. He said we could bring a batch, freeze them and then put them in the suitcase. That's not a terrible idea.

why did I open this thread? I don't even like chocolate, and now I find myself wanting brownies. siiiiigh. (though I have been curious about the pan)

That doesn't compute.

I wish that were true for me - I'm sure I'd weigh quite a lot less! Hmmm.....maybe hypnosis?

I vote rickandcindy bake a batch for everyone who posts in this thread. do I hear a second? =)

Me too! And Cindy, Colorado isn't that far from Idaho, so I'm sure they'll be pretty fresh when we get them! :D

Cindy -- I didn't just buy one pan when I first saw them advertised last year, I bought 4 and gave them for Christmas gifts. Who doesn't love the corner brownie and every single brownie is a corner when you use this pan! :)

The only recipe that hasn't worked well is one that goes by many names -- my mom called them seven layer cookies. You layer, in the pan -- no mix, no mess:

1 stick of butter/margarine
1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
1 small pack of butterscotch chips
1 small pack of chocolate chips
3.5 oz of coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 can Baker's unsweetened milk

Because you don't mix anything, I think the ingredients need to "meld" together in the banking process and the "perfect brownie pan" hinders that process ..... so they didn't come out too well. However, I'm going to try cooking them halfway next time, then put the "corner insert" in at the halfway point and see if that does the trick!

Three cheers for the perfect brownie pan! My only complaint is that it doesn't store well with other pans of its type because of the necessary handles -- it's almost as if it is so proud of itself that it demands its very own place in the pantry!
