I use RCI so it would need to be a RCI exchangable. I thought I remember before someone talking about mexican timeshare with pool for each unit. Thanks in advance.

The Grand Mayans have a plunge pool on the balconies of the 1 & 2 Bdrs. They are small and not very deep.

Club Regina has a mini hot tub on the balcony, and I think Ocho Cascades has pools with each unit.

Windjammer Landing in St. Lucia, but it is a very difficult trade. Renting from an owner would be your best bet.

About how deep are they? We'll be there in the Fall, and I've been wondering about that.

The pools were less than 2 feet deep, not sure exactly.

Our unit's balcony never saw any sun, so I am just assuming, mind you, that the water would not be very warm. Other balconies may have direct sun, but ours did not.

We were there in the Fall and our balcony got sun. We faced the ocean. The plunge pool is about 3 feet deep with a shelf to sit on, too. I tried to upload my picture, but it is too large. I will try to send to you in an email if you PM me with your email address.

The plunge pool at the Grand Mayan - Riviera Maya is exactly the same as at Nuevo Vallarta. The water is cool but not cold. We use it a lot on days after we have returned from tour and want to cool off and relax.

What does "plunge" mean?

I've never stayed in one of these but my concept of "plunge" was that I really jump into one. Online definitions not that they are deep.

If these are just two feet deep, it seems that you'd need to step rather cautiously.
The idea of my own pool on the balcony sounds great, but are these really pools in which one can swim, or more like large bathtubs?

Here is a picture of the plunge pool. It drained and refilled on a timer, so it was always clean water.

Here's another pic

You can see that they are not deep - more like a hot tub with out the jets and heat. Fun for cooling off. Maybe if you click on the picture, it will be larger.

Thanks for the picture. Definitely not for plunging, but more like sitting in an upgraded version of a kiddie pool, though it looks like it's deeper below the little shelf/step. I sat in kiddie pools a few times when my kids were little :p

Plunge Pool

Yes, for us it was more a novelty than something we would wish for in a room, but it was nice to have. Used it a few times. I could see it being desirable if you had young kids. They would love it.

I have a couple of pictures of the dipping/plunge pool on the GM deck on my photo link below. There are 3 in the GM Nuevo Valarta album including one of it empty and I there is one in the Acapulco GM album too.
