Skype and Spammers?

We are sort of new to Skype and we only have one contact who we call (our son in Canada). But today I got a spam message from some penny stock company :annoyed:

Is this usual to get spammed on Skype and if so, how do I block spammers?

Have had Skype for awhile and never been spammed.

It does happen.

Here is the fix: Go to the SKYPE menu (upper left). Click on Privacy. In privacy settings, be sure it is checked to allow calls, Ims, only from your contacts. You're set!
