Jersey Shore resorts with day privelidges?

Owners at Marriott Fairway Villas near Atlantic City have day privileges - indoor and outdoor pools, gym, and Elizabeth Arden spa.

the Flagship resort is in AC - they have day privileges. They have an indoor pool, a restaurant, gym, covered parking, overlook the inlet, and run a shuttle (I believe it is free) to the casinos.

how far is it from Atlantic City? Is it off the AC expressway?

Marriott Fairway Villas is about 10-15 minutes from Atlantic City via Route 30. I believe it's a little longer if you take the AC expressway.

Celebrity Resorts in Brigantine has day use. It's 5 mins from casinos on the Harbor (Borgata, Trump's Marina, etc.).

I would read the condo docs to see if day priveleges are set in stone or whether they are subject to a membership or managment decision to revoke them. Most OBX timeshares allow day priveleges but if you read the condo docs, some of them are not legally obligated to do so. If day priveleges are important, then it is much better if they cannot take these away on a whim at some later point.

I called the resort and they do have day privileges. The one I own is the Brigantine Inn.

Pat, Did the Manager confirm this. It's been a "hot issue" since Celebrity acquired it. They "kicked out" the long standing, dedicated HOA and proceeded in the heavy-handed method which is their trademark, to make their own rules without regard for the legality of it.

The first summer they denied owners day privileges, a woman guest tragically drowned in the pool trying to save her child. The owners were quite vocal in pointing out that had some of the owners, who were "regulars" at the pool been present, the woman's life may well have been saved.

I spoke to 2 people at the resort. One was at the front desk and the other was in reservations. Don't think either was a manager.
