If this is a trade you are making, the only opinion that matters is yours. If the Grand Mayan is more valuable to you than the Bay Club unit, it's a good trade.

I actually used 5000 points to get the Bay Club. I reserved it with 5000 points. I borrowed ahead.

At least I THINK that the exchange fees are lower with SFX.

My silver crown 2br unit in N. Michigan(week 32) can pull the Grand Mayan Riviera at Xmas, NYE and Easter.

I figure it can't be that hard of a trade, if Hemlock can pull it at major holidays.

That's kind of what I think. I'm going with it because what the heck - I don't like the waiting for a trade game - but I do believe owning something cheaper than Hilton would pull good Mexico. I know the game is - put in requests, wait, be patient. But then you have trouble getting FF miles etc...

I'm talking Xmas/NYE 2010-2011, plenty of time to book tickets with FF miles.

I believe a good trade is where you want to travel. If you're happy with Mexico, Mexico it is!
