I am very excited for your 'first trip home' to the BBC - I know u will love the laid back simplicity of the resort....and hope u will take some pictures of the inside of the A/B building - I want to compare to the C-G.

Sorry I will not be there but have a wonderful time

I plan on getting pictures before we bring in the bags. Always do that in case I want to rent. I would like to see inside one of the newer buildings as well. Haven't been to STT since fall 2000, so am really looking forward to it. Been searching for my old maps, etc tonight in preparation, getting excited. When were C-G built, any idea?

What do you own at Morritt's? I used to own a penthouse at the Grand, but was luckily able to sell it for a pretty good amount not long after the storm.

Thanks,

Not sure when the newer buildings were built...if u go to the yahoo owners group - there are old pictures there......that put more of a time line on the resort.

At MTC, I have an OF Penthouse, a 2BR TH and an OF 1BR recently purchased - I have no 'bad history' at the resort that many long term owners have. As often happens, older owners have gone thru difficult times with resort management - especially at the Caribbean locations that are so at the mercy of bad weather and expensive (because of location) renovations.
When u purchase inexpensively in the resale market, it is a lot easier to take all this in stride.

Yeah, bad history all right, zip your pockets and hold on to your drink when David enters the room. What a crook. Sometime I'll tell you the truth off line.

:annoyed: yup, that's what I hear.....

As for BBC, since I have owned (maybe 5 years?) we have been managed by Equivest, Fairfield and most recently have been swallowed up by Wyndham. .... it is hard to know which is a better situation.

,

We bought the Beach Club in '98 when the original developer was still running it. A & B were under renovations. Kosmas came into it in '99, within the year Equivest had it. The next time we returned they had the whole resort closed as the current developer decided to completely redo the remainder of the bldgs and changed the whole plan from the original. I think this was around ~2000, they put us up at the Elysian while there.
