Funny 911 Call

A woman calls 911 because she's traped inside her car:

911 call.

Reminds me of the time when I was in High School and working at the mall. Closing time and I was leaving the mall, I pulled on each of the six doors to get out and they wouldn't open. After pulling all the doors, the security guard who was standing a few feet away said "you might want to try pushing"

I heard about this on the news today. It's just depressing...because the woman doesn't sound stupid! She give all the information on her location right away, just the way you're supposed to with 911.

The one that really bothered me was the woman who called 911 because she was at a McDonald's and they wouldn't give her the chicken nuggets she had paid for (they had run out). She called THREE TIMES! And when they said, "This line is for emergencies," she said, "This IS an emergency." Even afterward, when she was talking to reporters, she didn't seem to understand what she had done wrong.

Of course--why didn't the McDonald's just give her her money back?

Maybe to her it was an "emergency" because she felt she was being robbed. I don't know the details of this event but her reaction was eccentric IMO. Wonder how she is in the rest of her daily routine?

Reminds me of the old joke about the woman who was trying to jimmy open the door lock on a car door because there was a baby locked inside. When the locksmith arrived and started to work on the passenger door, the woman said, "Oh, don't both with that - I already did that side." :rofl:

Thanks, I thought it was something like that. I don't want to laugh too hard at this poor woman as I've had my senior moments. DOH!

This is funny because it has happened to someone other than us. We've all done things that in hindsight a 4-year old wouldn't do. I can see the panic happening here though, her mind was probalby going in 100 different directions.

At the same time I can see the dispatcher looking around the other cubes near her to see which co-worker was pranking her.
