Looking for some answers and know this is the place to get it. :)
1. How crowded do the bbqs get around dinner time?
2. When we do bbq, are there tables around the bbq or beach area where we can eat?

Thanks again for everyones help..
We will be there the first week in April....

They get busy, but there is a nice party atmosphere and people will share. They are right by the pools and there are a few tables right there.

Yes, the grills got crowded around dinner time (dusk and after). We had to wait about 20 minutes one night. The next night I looked at the map and realized there were another set of grills hidden away near the pool of building 8. Those bbqs were far less crowded. If you are located anywhere near building 8, it might be worth a walk. However, grilling is a great way to meet other people. :)

FYI, there are bbq locations listed on the maps in the Owner's Resource sticky.

We've had a different experience than the 2 above posters. We find that people are more than willing to share the BBQ but not the tables. On our last trip with both resorts open we found the BBQ area popular especially towards the end of the week. So, if a table is important then, I would stake one out as soon as you get there.

Also, half the time some of the BBQs were not working. We do not eat out for dinner except maybe once during the trip. We mainly BBQ the entire week.

The BBQs were the busy for us from 6 pm to 7 pm. So, if you go around 5 or 5:30 pm you might have better luck. But I'm sure that depends on everyone's eating habits that week. I feel that WKORV is lacking in the tables around the BBQ area. The BBQ between WKORV & WKORV-N near the pirate ship has a nice table in the shade. It was very popular the week we went.

We were there last week and had no issues with a table or a BBQ, but we started at about 530pm or so, which made us the first 'wave' of people I suppose.

One thing that does bear mentioning is that the BBQ's were very clean! I saw someone there almost every day scrubbing them - that was a nice touch.
