Atlantis Jonas brothers package

The kids in the school I work at are crazy about these guys.I guess Atlantis is pulling out the big guns to fill rooms.Link

Whew...that was close.

I get there on 3/20 & will be there the week after the Bros.

Since the 2nd show is the last day of our Spring Break I asked the DD if any of her friends would be interested in hearing about it so they could bug their parents about going. The DD is not really into them (but ask her about Twilight). Unfortunately, all the Jonas Bros' biggest fans will be elsewhere that week. And we'll be enjoying our last margaritas at the SWIM UP BAR! I suspect, however, some who have spring break the week after Easter will be bugging mommy and daddy to go to the Bahamas.

One of the DD's friends actually went to the Hannah Montana concert (yes, I am the best mother in the world) with us and was more into the Jonas Bros than Hannah Montana. OMG! :hysterical:

Added: I just priced out the May event for fun. The concert tickets are $175 EACH. Serious OMG!

For comparison, when I was there in October, Jewel was doing a live show there. I knew the room was small (think it's the theatre, where they show the movies), and while I can't say I'm a fan of her, I think she'd have been a good live performer to see.

However, tickets were $100 per person, way too much for just a casual night out.

Someone would need to compare the Jonas Bros package rate with their regular rate to get an idea the effective ticket price is. Givem how popular they are, I'd guess maybe $200 p/p.

For giggles, I priced out a 2 night Jonas Brothers Package for 2 Adults, in the Beach Towers. Almost $1400!!!!!!!!! INSANITY!!!!!!!! :wall:

The Jonas Brothers tickets were listed as $175 each.

So much for a peaceful and quiet trip to Harborside. I'll be there in May during their show...

We'll be able to hear the screams all the way up here, I'm sure. As long as you're not in that part of the beach tower you should be fine.

getting a booking at Harborside

How difficult is it generally to book a week at Harborside in early October/November? I assume this is the off season. I own at WKNV and will need to reserve at the 8 month window.

Harborside Excluded from Jonas Bros. Concert

Does anyone know how to get tickets to the Apr. 18th show if you are staying at the Harborside? I was told that it is a promotion only for guests who book hotel rooms and Harborside is excluded. I thought as part of our Facility and Activity fee as members we were included in these types of things.

you must be kidding...these kids are like the modern day Beatles...tickets usually go for $150-$3,000 each.

No, I am not kidding; i am bringing my 11 yr old niece and would like to attend. I was too young for the Beatles. I called Harborside and they validated that it is a promotion run by Atlantis for anyone who books in the hotel that weekend. However, she did say that if they don't sell the rooms out in the hotel, they may possibly release tickets to the general public, but that won't be known until right before the event. No guarantees. She also said that the event will be in the Ballroom so I am sure the prices will be relatively fixed since there is no real preferential seating like in a stadium. I also spoke to SVO Membership manager and he suggested we write to the SVO Board of Directors and inform them that Harborside guests have been excluded from this activity. Atlantis has no issue putting Harborside on their website as part of their Accomodations but they won't let us in on the fun.....doesn't seem fair.

I don't think RoadWarrior assumed that he/she should get tickets for free, but rather as a Harborside owner, have some preferences towards being able to purchase them.

I can understand Atlantis wanting to make them (initially) only available to guests who book new hotel stays with them (the reason they are offering the show to begin with - to get new reservations). However, if there are remaining tickets, I agree that both Harborside guests and Atlantis guests should have equal access to those tickets. That's only fair if you're already a guest there.

RoadWarrior I'd particularly watch if Cove owners get any special treatment (I think that's condo building). $/sq ft, I'm sure Harborside units cost as much as them, just that they maybe have one owner, vs HAR units, up to 52.

Fcast--early October/November is generally not too difficult--this fall may be an issue because the word is that they will be starting to renovate phase 1 in the fall so they may need to put owners in phase 2--although once when we went after a hurricane and our building was affected they put us in the Royal Towers and gave us a food credit--it was sweet!
