Bugs in the new HGVC Revolution Booking Engine

Bugs in the new HGVC Revolution Booking Engine

Well I have not found a serious issue with the new booking engine.

It shows availablity but when you go and book it you get an error. If you look at the same inventory in the old system there is NOT inventory there to book. So the new system is showing inventory INCORRECTLY.

Just a heads up. As this is a far more serious error than the other error.

The other error by the way is that it don't give elite members the correct price for booking a 7 day stay in Club season. It should be free but it just want to charge you the $39 discounted fee for any booking. Elite receives free bookings for any 7 day stay, less than 7 day and the fee is $39.

Are you reporting these bugs? Even if you've already filled out the survey (and it won't allow anyone to do it more than once), you can send an email to the contact address on the site. I did that once already and got a nice reply thanking me and saying the problem would be passed along.

New engine did not correctly calc points on change

I have a changable reservation for Las Vegas strip starting 10/2. Today 9/1 I changed from a 2br plus to a 2 br and the points did not adjust properly downward. I went ahead and changed it as HGVC by phone is not available today(holiday) and I was not sure if tomorrow would be inside the 30 days.

I will call tomorrow and discuss with HGVC.

Corrected, you are right. I have found serious issues. For some reason I could not longer edit my post.
