I still think AAA is the best deal. I purchased a 5 day at our local office and then went to Guest Services at WDW and upgraded to a 6 day with no expiration (we only used 2 days this time)
They give you the credit for the AAA price and then calculate what you owe for the upgrade. I think I owed 60.00 for each ticket for the upgrade, but tha is w/o the hopper.
Doing this would negate the AAA discount, as you would essentially be purchasing them for the same price as buying directly from Disney?
No I don't think so I paid 598 for 2 adult and 1 child (5 day regular ticket at AAA and 198 at WDW for the upgrade to a 6 day no expiration for a total of $790.00. If I purchased the 6 day no exp on line, it would be 820 with tax and shipping.
If I remember correctly the online price seemed to be the same as the prices at the gate. I know my mom paid 132 for her 2 day ticket at the gate. Can't remember if they added tax to that. And on line the 2 day ticket is the same ..... but then add tax and shipping.
