Will I be go most any where in the southeast with 154,000 points ie: at the beach or the mountains, not necessarily in high or prime time?

Assume you mean FF. Since you did not say anything about how long a stay is, what size of bedroom it will be, and when (except you don't need Prime or high).

I used to have 84k. I have used it to stay in 2 BD on east coast for 3 to 5 days use internal exchange.

I now have 231k, if I have to I could be able to use them all for 2 BD for 2 night stay use internal exchange. Never try that, maybe I will do it one day. My recent scheduled trip is 40.1k for 2 BD stay in Williamsburg, Kingsgate Friday to Sunday (2 night 5/11/07 to 5/13/07). Last 2 reservation is Glade stdio 28k for 1 wk at Dec and 84k for Kingsgate July 4th 1 BD for 1 wk

One of our Tuggers has posted the point chart for FF/wyndham link

It looks like 154K FF points will get you a prime time week in a 1 bd in all but just a handfull of FF resorts. And will get you a high time week in a 2 bd in about 1/2 of the FF resorts..

The only real bad thing about couple nights stays is you receive 1 reservation transaction per 77K points you own and it goes by calendar year not your use year. for each action you do to your account minus checking points, and availability it will use 1 of your transactions. If you run out they will charge you $25 for each additional unless of course your VIP then its umlimited. Wait to see the changes in store for VIP owners and reservation changes there will be some upset owners you can bet on that. It will start aug 1st.

I believe you are talking about the rumor after Aug 1, Gold get 10 free GC and Plantimun get 15 free GC then each 1M get 15 free GC., and no more limited points and in 14 days the cancel will cost all the points?

There is no impact on transaction for VIP. In fact, only gold+ VIP get unlimited transaction. VIP get free housekeep credit though.
