Curious if anyone here has any experience or knowledge of how to switch the attached property for a PIC contract. Do you have to make a new purchase and enroll a new PIC or are you able to contact Wyndham and, for a price change, the property that is attached to that specific PIC contract. I am Grandfathered Gold at 700k with free housekeeping and am trying to find the correct way to do this without losing my VIP Status.

You must drop the existing PIC contract and re-enroll the new property using a newly purchased PIC contract. The sales weasels may lie to you and tell you what you want to hear, do not believe them. I’ve had this explicit question answered directly and officially by Wyndham management recently, this is the official and only legitimate answer. When PIC contracts state they are non-transferable, basically this applies to all aspects of the contract, including the underlying property to which it is tied.

If you are not VIP, apart from the developer purchase for the PIC swap, the above doesn’t matter. If you are VIP, keep in mind that when the existing PIC contract is unenrolled, if you drop down a tier due to the removal of the PIC contract, you must qualify to move up using the current VIP points tiers, not the old tiers from the grandfathered VIP programs.
