Recommendations for resorts within 5-6 hours of NJ

Williamsburg, VA has many resorts, including Marriott. For things to do you have Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens.

Thank you but Im not interested in Williamsburg. We have been there years ago.

I took the OP at their word they did not want to go there. However, if anyone is considering it, I highly endorse. So much rich information on American History in the area. Colonial Williamsburg is excellent and Busch Gardens is an enjoyable theme and thrill park.

And veterans can get a year's pass for only $140 for each family member. Colonial Williamsburg has special deals too.

We like Busch Gardens and Water Country, especially with the food pass.
Last time we went, my MIL (70+) went and had a good time and didn't ride anything.
We have not done Colonial Williamsburg.
