There is a company on Facebook pushing lies about timeshares having to be accepted by heirs. The company is called gettimesharefree.com. What caught my eye is that this company is fraudulently using the profile of Paul Zerdin (a ventriloquist and winner of Americas Got Talent). The comments include three people touting the company. All three of those profiles show that they are based in Bangladesh. The website was created a month ago. They have a BBB accredited logo and yet they do not have a BBB profile. What is interesting is their privacy page reveals that they provide leads to exit companies. They want you to click a link to see if your timeshare qualifies (spoiler alert, they all qualify). When it tells you it qualifies it then asks for your personal information and there is a logo for the Stonegate Firm, LLC. That exit company is BBB accredited with an A+ rating. They claim to have their own legal team.

What we appear to have is an BBB accredited exit company (Stonegate Firm, LLC) using the services of a scam/fraud company to provide them timeshare exit leads. Who would have thought that the timeshare exit world would spawn yet another scam industry?

That's such a despicable business!

Stonegate Firm is also now in the business of helping you "get out" of your solar contracts.
My elderly aunt was scammed into not one, but two solar contracts. She finally got the drift and called me and agreed to let me sit in on the cancellation meeting. I let the lady finish her presentation and cost. I then told her to send over contract for her to review. She said no. She said it is "proprietary" information and my aunt will have to "move ahead" with the services to be able to see it. I am not sure what she meant by move ahead. I didn't feel like wasting anymore of my time and I told her goodbye.

I can't say I'm surprised. I don't use FB for much except being a member of a bunch of timeshare FB groups. My feed is full of timeshare exit company sponsored posts/ads. I've always wondered what Timeshare Tracy is, I think they are just a lead generating company that then sells or referrs people to other exit companies?

Facebook.com is so useless at filtering out fraudulent advertising. Only a matter of time before there is legal action at the global level. It will take the EU and or Federal Legislation to stomp out the pests permitted to colonize on Social Media advertising platforms.

so very easy to promote facebook ads with fake reviews/posts these days....people blatantly advertise for it.

and it clearly works.

That ad is why, we do not use Facebook.

Facebook is like the old yellow pages, imo. I can look up a company's profile for contact info and see what other real people say. Sometimes these real people are people I know.

The thing I like most about FB is seeing what's up with my family and friends. It's interesting watching everyone grow up or grow old , lol.

Why do you say they are fraudulently using Paul Zerdin's profile?

Years ago, maybe over one (1) decade ago. I can remember that a young person loss a high-level position because of Facebook.
One of their Facebook photos showed the person drunk at a local bar and because of that one stupid photo. That person was not hired for a high-level position. True Story.

I was not a part of that final decision making.
Warning! Please be careful of the type of photos you post on Facebook. Many employers liked to check your public Facebook Accounts.

It shows as a sponsored ad by Paul Zerdin. The post is on Paul’s FB feed and the answers to comments come from “Paul Zerdin”. The two people with the endorsements you see in the attachment below are from Bangladesh (not particular known as a timeshare hotspot).

Many employers, landlords and organizations do use Facebook to screen applicants for behavioral issues and general rule breaking. That is why Facebook has privacy settings. It's funny that as people I know get older on Facebook, it seems many want to talk about things we never cared about when we were younger.

So I reported this scam timeshare exit lead generator to FB for hijacking/using celebrity Paul Zerdin’s profile. FB responded that the ad didn’t go against their standards and is not going to remove the ad. Thanks FaceBook for doing everything you can to keep the scammers out of FB.

I ignore most ads on FB unless for a business I know and trust. Even then if it’s an ad for something I want, I’ll go to the company’s website instead of clicking the ad. I like FB for keeping up with friends and for gathering information from sites I trust (but I take that information with a grain of salt).

If it is on his timeline did they hack his FB login? Maybe you could post a FB link instead of a screenshot. Looks like he hasn't posted in awhile.

The gettimesharefree.com post is no longer on Paul Zerdin’s profile page (and the scammer was posing as Paul on the comments). Maybe Paul Zerdin got it removed. I see now that they are on another person’s profile. The name of Stonegate Firm, LLC comes up on this one too.

Just a scam timeshare lead generator willing to hijack profiles and feed the exit companies names of victims. In this case the exit company is Stonegate Firm, LLC and they don’t care because they are paying this lead generator for names of victims that they can ultimately fleece for thousands of dollars.

Not sure how this could occur without them hacking his FB account, and equally not understanding how Robert Miller relates.
