Tiger Woods in a car accident today

"82-time PGA winner!!" Wow!

Supposedly for refusing the test, he will lose his license for a year as he should. Maybe that's a start? Maybe not. These wealthy celebrities are surrounded again and again by enablers including their "doctors." He is likely an addict which I do not wish on anyone. Jim Irsay?

All kinds of “regular” people are also surrounded by enablers. And many doctors are guided by the almighty dollar & not what’s best for the patient.

I think with his wealth, he can afford a driver or an Uber. However, an article I read says he is very private which is why he doesn't have a driver or use Uber.

At this point, he is a piece of garbage endangering so many people's lives, no one should be worried about whether HE walks away from the next. He is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, if not a billion, but CHOOSES to habitually take drugs that impair him and drive. No reason he should be driving anywhere.
I agree completely on this. I have had FIVE friends of friends (via four accidents) killed by drunk drivers. My sympathy level for people who drive under impairment is around zero.

You are generous; mine is way, way below zero...infinity actually.

That’s silly because every time he gets a DUI or is in an accident his business is all out for the world to see. He is bringing more attention to himself this way.

He does’t have to discuss private matters in the car with a driver he can wait until he is in a secure location

Exactly what I was thinking! Now all his previous accidents aired again.

Never said I agreed with him! That is simply the reason he gives.

Look at all the famous who have been in the news and could easily afford to pay Uber/Taxi/private driver yet they do not, then cause accidents. It's the substance use/abuse makes for poor decisions. I read today his pupils were dilated and he had a couple hydrocodone on him. Same article said he said he had been looking at his phone and didn't see the vehicle ahead of him slowing down.

Tiger looked pretty bad in his mugshot.

That wasn’t directed towards you, but Tiger himself.

Tiger looked pretty bad in his mugshot.
He did look pretty rough. Who knows what I would look like after crawling out of a car, but mugshots aren’t meant to be Glamour Shots.

Sport stars, actors, singers, etc., should all be held to the same standards of ordinary people. Throw the book at them. At least they can afford to pay for Uber and Lyft or hire a fulltime driver. Ordinary people cannot do that, they have to ride the bus or walk after losing the driving prilege, and it is a privilege.
