Something messed up with Owner Priority Dates?

I have made two bookings over the next 4 months which have alerted me that I am consuming an owner priority slot, and i'm booking solely for myself, no GC.

Once was Nashville week of 4/3-4/12 and the other was Smokey Mountains 5/22-5/31.

I'm not sure why the Nashville date is an owner priority date in the first place. But regardless, it should not be consuming one of my owner priority slots when booking for MYSELF, and myself alone. I edited out my name and email address from those boxes and my member number.

The alert says “If booking for a guest…” You’re not booking for a guest so it doesn’t apply.

What does it say on your benefits summary page on the Owner Priority Reservation line?

Where do you find that?
It’s the Benefits Summary tab on the website (not in the app), expand the list of benefits and it should be at the very bottom.

I looked everywhere and do not see timeshare owner priority under benefits summary, or points summary. I looked on the app too just to see if something displayed differently there.

It’s the last thing on my list, below CW Select. I have less than half as many items on the list as you (since I’m resale only), so maybe there’s just an issue with displaying the full list because of the length?

I get that warning about the priority dates when I'm in the process of making a reservation and think is a very good idea. I know it's hard to believe that some owners still don't understand about the owner priority dates or how to find the list of them. However that's true and what we might think of as overkill or unnecessary is actually necessary and helpful.

BTW, Easter is April 5th this year and a spring break time. The spring break weeks are on the owner priority list for a number of resorts.

Another thing that's confusing at first is when you have guest reservations while you're also staying at that same resort during an owner priority time. When you at your benefit page it will show as 0/1. The 0 is you've used neither of your exceptions. The 1 is that you had a guest stay during an owner priority time but because you were also staying at that resort you didn't have to use one of your exceptions. It seems obvious that our guest usage during owner priority dates is being tracked. In addtion to the number of guest confirmations we use and the percentage of our points we use for guest reservations, this is another metric Wyndham uses to track how we're using our points.

CW Select is the last thing I have on my list.

You might be right that it just might be a website limit, but it's definitely not there.

I'm curious if any other hybrid VIP owners show this "Timeshare owner priority reservation" on their benefits summary.

I have used zero GC's this year, so this may be a moot point.

I am not a hybrid VIP, but it does show as the last items when I select the show more under my benefits tab. I was also going to say, which already has been, that this shows regardless of if it will be a guest cert or not. I kind of like it because there are times when I read the dates wrong on the owner priority website and having that as a second check helps. If you assume that it is correct... which may be a YMMV situation. So far, I believe they have been. :)

Do you have a use year not starting in January? I do, and on the Account tab in the app, under use year, I can select "1/1/2026 - 12/31/2026" instead of my real use year.

When I do this, it says that I have 0 points in this "calendar use year", but it will display my available Guest allowances and Guest confirmations. This information is not displayed when I have selected my real use year not starting in January.

Yes, I have an October use year

When I use the drop down menu to choose a different use year it's always 10/1-9/30, I don't seemingly have an option to select calendar year. I think the only things that reset on calendar year is HK, GC and I guess this owner priority thing
