II cancellation available options close to check-in

I am having some health issues and will likely have to leave to head home this week to see my specialist. I have 2 more II stays: 1/11/26 to 1/18/26 and 1/18/26 to 1/25/26 at the same location. What are my options? I have Marriott (Abound) II corporate account.

- Do I cancel and ask for replacement week? Is the 1/11/26 week not available for cancellation since it is within 7 days?
- Do I retrade both of them out for something else, limited to 30 days retrade and keep retrading?

If the weeks are all enrolled exchanges, you can just retrade out. The problem is you are limited to 30 days from the current date and you have to keep retrading every 30 days or less. You can do this an unlimited amount of times. You may want to try retrading on the app as people have found that the flexchange restrictions may not be implemented. At least that's how it works for EPlus retrades on the app. So I would try that first.

Yes, you can retrade (non Eplus) up to 11:59pm eastern time the day prior to checkin.

The 7 days you may be thinking of has to do with deposits. Though it is 14 days, but may have been 7 in the past. II won't accept a deposit within 14 days of checkin.

Yes I used the MVC to MVC retrade 5 days before check-in in Nov 2025 and moved it to Nov 2026 using the App. Give that a go first.

i have a 2023 week that i exchange less than 2 months near end october. i added eplus but on regular website only allow me to exchange 2 months ahead x 3. on the II app, it says i have 2 out of 3 eplus left and week expires 12/24/26 but app wont allow me to trade for something into december. so i think i am stuck to max eplus to june 24, 2026 and not able to go farther out than that.
If tugger know a way to trade further out, please let me know

Not without incurring additional cost. You can push the e-plus out as far as you can go and then cancel and get a replacement week that is good for 12 months from the date you cancel, but the replacement week will be stuck in the flex period too and you'll incur a new exchange fee with anything you book.

My replacement week also lost a lot of trade power and took a year off of its expiration. It had originally almost 2 years expiration. If I add eplus to it can I extend out further than its current expiration?

If you add Eplus, it will extend out one year from the date of the initial trade. So you can get it out further than its current expiration.
