Minimum nights greater than 12 months out?

Just to clarify. As a Marriott owner, I can book between 12-13 months out, HOWEVER, the system states that “based on your ownership a minimum of 7 nights is required” when I try to book next January. Will that requirement go away once I’m within 12 months?
Thanks

Actually, looking further, at the ownership level you can book nightly stays at 10 months, not 12

Not sure where the most current version is available on the public side of things, but this one doesn't match the one at https://owners.marriottvacationclub.com/timeshare/mvco/benefits#overview for when you are signed in. The one that stuck out to me is that the linked version has the banking deadline for Chairman's Club at 4 months prior to the end of year while the current version is two months prior (October 31). That change was made in August 2022 when they aligned the benefits for MVC and Vistana. More recently, they added a set of discounts for the Exclusive Owner Events a.k.a. marketing packages (100, 150, 200, and 250 points off for Select, Executive, Presidential, and Chairman's Club respectively). I didn't cross-check the rest but the link is an old one.

I snatched it from the points Sticky. Seems that may need another update.

@Fasttr and @Eric B I can't find a version that is correct and externally accessible. The one accessible via the account is also 9 pages as opposed to just the 1 of the existing link.

Would a note next to the current link be sufficient to correct the info for the TUG sticky?

I'll email customer advocacy to ask for the 1-pager to be updated but that may or may not happen.

When you say you are a Marriott “owner” do you mean that is your benefit level?
If so you can’t book less than 7 days until 10 months out.

Log on and click benefit level at the top near your name and you can select your level from the drop down list for all the details.

That would work as far as I’m concerned. I heard another rumor of additional changes coming to benefits anyway - might be worth suggesting updating the 1-pager as part of any potential changes.

Here's the 1 page Benefits at a Glance I updated when the change to Chairman's Club was announced. There might be later changes I haven't incorporated.

The Events discounts is the only one I see immediately. It only started December 1st.

Is this available as a link anywhere that I can add the URL to the sticky pages?

Sorry, I edited it on my computer and keep it as a jpg. Feel free to do whatever you like with it though...

@Eric B and @ljmiii The sticky has been updated (thanks to Brian) with the link to the post above, hopefully that works. If you find stuff that isn't right in the stickies for Abound or weeks message or tag me or TUG Admin to get it amended. I did the update, but presume that it is imperfect, so am happy to improve it.
