HGVC Resale booking into HVC resorts

I am able to book many HVC resorts (for example ,Sedona Summit, a Hilton Vacation Club), and the website shows "HGVMax".

Is it supposed to be? (and the booking fee is zero). Am I maxed?

Does it say HGV Max in the upper left of the portal? Which resale did you buy?

I guess it's working partially. I still pay $79 to book legacy HGVC resorts, but zero for HVC resorts.

And some people paid $$$$ for Max. I know that a few others have gotten Max (Backdoor Max) via a bHC purchase.

I had max for free for about 18 months before someone noticed and turned it off - I also have a district deed so guessing that was it.

Mainly it is the free reservations for lower tier Max folks. You can look at the Max tier benefits guide to see what else you may get. Not sure if you will but doesn't hurt to look

Interesting that they turned it off. I have heard of folks, who got it free, trying to get it turned off and couldn't. It would go off and then at midnight, go back.

For me, it's been off for about 3-4 weeks for me now. I did go to a couple HVC properties while I had max (Powhatan Williamsburg & Kenmore club Scotland) and had a good experience with it. It also seemed to more frequently give 30-50% off point offers with Max at select properties and times. Plus free club bookings (which I already had with the District AI fee)

Got it. I haven't paid any fee yet - don't even know if I need to pay for 2025 club fee. My first use year is 2027 ODD.

The expanded access is huge. Now I am able to book Point at Poipu by days (elsewhere by week if I find availabity in RCI or II). Can Max book into Bluegreens already?

I got Maxed today too. Is there a way to get rid of this? One of the main reasons I bought into the District was for the 15 day early access to the club booking window in NYC which I have now lost.

Why do you want it off? Don’t you like the access to a much bigger network with HVC and Bluegreen?

There were a handful of bluegreens I could see, they are rolling out availability to bluegreens over the next year. Not sure on embarc.

Looks like several Embarcs like Vancouver are bookable. Not sure which Bluegreens are already bookable.
