Hi @Rosie212 and welcome to TUG
I suggest you read the following thread on Westgate Deedbacks from the TUG Westgate subforum
Westgate Deedback Program

You could also list it in the TUG Free Timeshare Forum and TUG Marketplace.

Most Timeshares have little resale value and because Westgate removes some owner benefits upon resale; the resale price for
most Westgate Timeshares is $1 . Some are easier to give away than others. [ for example fixed week 51 & 52 Christmas / New Years ]

If you are older and no longer want a timeshare you bought years ago, consider walking away from the maintenance fees.

This is a difficult thing to do for most of us to even consider. We have an obligation, we need to pay it because we committed to it. I have one like that. I received it free. I may have to pay to give it back. It's not Westgate.

There may be some here on TUG who know how to get out of Westgate, specifically. I have no idea if there is a way to give the deed back.

That's a pretty good article Brian. Westgate took over management of Vacation Internationale. I haven't looked to see if the Legacy program extends to Westgate managed systems but I will ask next time I communicate with VI.

Bill

Also check out the Westgate Timeshare Hostages Facebook group. Some people there post their experiences with walking away.
