I think AmEx wants to get cardholders to actually use their card. If that is true, I will most likely get rid of it, because I don't travel that much, and if I do, I'm not going to FHR resorts. But, I can't find anywhere online that they will do it. The only information I found is their most recent price hike to the current cost.

Was on their public facing website but they took down after folks noticed it...
We will find out very soon, as it is just next month...

The only time I had an American Express card was when it was a corporate card used for business travel for the company with which I was employed. I would not have a personal AMEX card.

I enjoy my benefits and works for me. Different amex platinum then talked about on here. Not sure why one would not have it if it worked for them?

Respect your opinion.
Amex has many excellent cards, including the Aspire, for HGVC owners; many have multiple.
But respect everyone has different needs/experiences...
