We are headed there in a few days. We were there in winter and loved the breakfast in the lobby. Is that just for ski season and not summer months. Has anyone been recently. How impactful is the construction
Also aside from requesting mountain view ,what would be second or third choice units which are peaceful and scenic. Thanks in advance

The breakfast is only available during the ski season.

I went the week before the 4th of July. We had a really nice time. Some people really hate the lack of air conditioning. We live in Denver and the lack of AC really didn't bother us, we left windows open at night and we thought it felt great.

I was at the front desk when a guest was furious and asking what could be done to make his room cooler, he even requested that the pilot light of the fireplace be turned off. It was a good reminder that I'm glad that I don't work in a customer facing job.

I wish I could help you out with a room request. We haven't had much luck with requesting rooms from Mountain Lodge -- our kids love swimming, so we always request a ground floor unit (and preferably one that has it's own entrance to the pool area)....sadly we've never gotten it.
 
Thank you! We're in Breck now and you don't need air-conditioning. We actually got caught hiking in a hail storm our first day here, lol. We are experiencing 4 seasons in one day. That's what we thought about breakfast. It was fun before skiing though. We're fine with units as long as we arent facing the street. I'll call them today. Appreciate the input!
 
Update: We got a corner unit with mountain views, and couldn't be more pleased. They do a nice job on updating the units
