Thank you so much! I am contacting the owner right now. Here is 6000 free points on the Free Timeshare giveaway forum posted recently. Perhaps you could reach out to the OP and make a deal. Use a reputable 3rd party to complete and file paperwork like LTTransfers.com (will cost around $250 - YMMV about pricing and whether 6000 points will get you the vacation you want.

6,000 Hilton Grand Vacation points
Originally purchased as Club Interwest points, these were gifted to us over a decade ago and we've enjoyed using these for many years. However, we're changing how we travel and are no longer interested in using these points and are happy to give them away to anyone interested.tugbbs.com
Thank you for the info and kindness offer, I will check the onsite post first, if not work I will need your help.Yes there is an embarc Facebook group. The problem is they only let you on the site if you are a member. Once on the site you are connected to their buy sell trade site which often has memberships for sale. CD5 in this group is one of the main members of the embarc Facebook group and a member on the embarc board. I picked up a 6000 point contract 3-4 years ago. I like it, rooms are more expensive than my Worldmark but also nicer. Points can be rolled over for one year and borrowed from the next to give you 3 years of points for a larger unit once in a while. I have been to Tremblant, Vancouver, Ucluelet and Palm Desert. All have been very nice but be prepared to book at the 11 month mark for what you want. They do not have a waitlist system so if you don't book it when it is first available you need to check regularly for a cancellation. I got lucky and got 2 nights in Ucluelet this summer exactly when I was on Vancouver island for the week. Once you join the 2 Facebook groups many people sell their reservations (at cost) rather than pay a fee to redeposit their points into embarc. Lots of good reservations do become available this way but they don't use up your points. If you want to PM me I can try and connect you to someone selling on the site.
I believe the person who posted it still wants to give it away for free. Here is 6000 free points on the Free Timeshare giveaway forum posted recently. With Embarc you don't need a transfer company. You send the paperwork direct to Hilton and its costs $250usd total for the transaction. We have the entire process documented - it's done by email/phone (to pay the transfer fee) and uses just 1 form supplied by Hilton. No deeds are involved so it's very simple. Generally, buyer pays 50% to seller after the transfer fee call and then the balance when their Embarc account is opened a couple of weeks later. Here is 6000 free points on the Free Timeshare giveaway forum posted recently. 6000 points is the minimum to get a membership but it's easy enough to buy more from another member in our group if more needed. Also, when you have an existing booking, you can buy 1 time use points from someone (at fee cost) to put onto the booking if it is at an Embarc location - which returns your own points to your account to be used again - so it's not necessary to have a large number of points if you're not going to use them consistently every year.
Note that Embarc is considered HGVC not HVC so this is the wrong subforum for this post @GT75
Hilton has categorized Embarc as HGVC. HVC is all the former Diamond locations. Why Embarc is more HGVC than HVC? Are Embarc points fungible with HGVC points somehow?
Some of the former 9 Embarc properties (I think 6, the other 3 are remaining as Embarc properties) have been rebranded as HGVC but technically they aren’t part of the Legacy HGVC club itself. They remain a separate club from original Legacy HGVC properties. Regular Embarc members can not book the Legacy HGVC properties nor can Legacy HGVC members book the Embarc properties. Maybe one way to look at these is that they are the Embarc collection. I have no idea why HGV made this so confusing. Why Embarc is more HGVC than HVC? If I remember correctly, it’s so they could charge more for rentals through Hilton Hotels. The HGVC branding allows Hilton Hotels to charge more than an HVC resort. Some of the former 9 Embarc properties (I think 6, the other 3 are remaining as Embarc properties) have been rebranded as HGVC but technically they aren’t part of the Legacy HGVC club itself. So they can sell Max.I have no idea why HGV made this so confusing.

May I ask how easy is it to rent points from other owners?Hilton has categorized Embarc as HGVC. HVC is all the former Diamond locations.
Embarc has however, been kept completely separate from Hilton resorts due to the governing documents - except for trades using HGV Max.
All the Embarc locations except those where the entire resort does not belong to Hilton (Vancouver, Panorama, Ucluelet) have been re-branded as Hilton Grand Vacations, for example "Hilton Grand Vacations Whistler".
Very easy if you are also an Embarc member. You can move their points onto an existing booking and have your points returned to the year they came from and then reuse them (perfect scenario for someone who had to borrow points from next year or take extra vacation in a specific year). Costs $35 paid to Hilton for the transaction. Or, what we also consider renting is that you can ask the other member to book a specific location/time for you and get added as guest (no cost with Hilton). There are many members who post their points or bookings for "rent" and most are successful. There is no restriction in our contracts concerning renting, it is permitted. In our group max price that can be requested is fee cost per point used. We set this up in our group, principally to help those who know they can't use their points so they recoup the cost.May I ask how easy is it to rent points from other owners?
No, there is no connection to Hilton hotels (except potentially through Max). We are only timeshare. If you mean bookings through the Hilton portal then that is certainly possible. If I remember correctly, it’s so they could charge more for rentals through Hilton Hotels. I could be very wrong on this, but that’s what I remember.
Thanks for the answer, if I have used all my points this year and have 6000 points next year, to make II exchange of 10000 points, I need to rent 4000 points from other owners. Do owners offer points renting for the up coming year Or only the current calendar year?Very easy if you are also an Embarc member.
