I am on a research mission to figure out if my memory foam bedding is the source of my persistent head pressure. (I have also been working with my medical team to try to figure this out, and so far nada.)

Any suggestions for pillows to try?

I am generally a stomach or side sleeper, and do not like anything too firm. My spouse is allergic to down.

I got my current favorite pillows from non-traditional places (and they're not branded). The first was from Temu - an "inexpensive" $45 latex pillow which is a bit narrow. The second is a $3.50 "cheap" pillow from the local Dollar General. It's probably the "softest" pillow I've ever had and I do love the softness. It's kinda a "half filled" pillow compared to most I've seen - so your neck isn't forced up so much like the "almost spherical" ultra stuffed I've usually seen. IDK why "all" branded pillows seem to assume you want a 90 degree bend in your neck up to the pillow.

I haven't slept on my stomach since I got a CPAP, but I imagine the "slimmer" nature of the two I suggested might well work for you.

https://sobelathome.com/collections/sobella I have the original Sobella , the Sahara was too soft for me. I sleep on side/stomach . They have more variety now then they had when I got my last one so not sure which one is the original . You find them in some hotels if you look at labels like I have.

I am a 3/4's side to tummy sleeper myself and really like these pillows we bought at Sam's Club a year ago. I doubled checked the inside labels to make sure they are the same, since I couldn't find them on the Sam's website doing a Google search. I too have allergies so these are perfect.

I use a thin foam pillow. I think it's a My Pillow. I've tried many others and for me the my pillow is the one. At resorts I'm not using a pillow occasionally because of the thickness. I sleep fine without a pillow. Maybe even better without than with.

Politics aside, I also use My Pillows at home and have found them very comfortable.

Coop pillow for me. Able to add or remove memory foam filler as desired. Comes in regular shape or crescent shape for side aleepers. Its pricey at $100, but its worth it to me.

I have the travel size My Pillow. I'm not impressed. Hopefully, the full size pillow is better.

I really liked the MyPillow. It finally wore out and I haven't ordered a new one. I've been using a memory foam pillow from Costco that seems okay. I think they come in a pack of two for about $13. We even bought some on our trip out west last year and just left them behind when we returned home.

I have found memory foam to be too firm for me, went back to poly fill as down is too warm for me. I like a soft pillow that isn’t too fat. I’m always thrilled when timeshare has different pillow options.

I have Casper pillows from a Casper store in West Palm Beach. You can get a high loft or a low loft pillow! My husband and myself immediately fell asleep quickly! They sell one at Costco but a cheaper version. I have alot of arthritis in my neck and the high loft pillow works, plus takes some off my shoulders so I dont wake up with a miserable shoulder😊

Some time ago I started waking up with what felt like a sinus headache. After I was up for a while it would go away. I figured out that my sinuses were filling as I laid down and causing the pressure that felt like a headache. My mattress was very firm, so I couldn't find a pillow that would raise my head far enough without hurting my neck.

I'm a side sleeper, and the solution that worked for me was sleeping with two pillows, one placed length wise, which raised my torso, with a second pillow across it at the top for my head. That solved the problem. We've just gotten a new adjustable bed frame (Original Mattress Factory, so it’s a regular mattress). Now I just raise the top of the bed a few inches and can use one pillow the normal way.

Finally threw the MyPillow in the trash where it belonged. Wife bought us a couple of the DreamyBlue adjustable pillows. So far they are great https://dreamyblue.com/products/dreamyblue-original-queen-pillow?variant=43825577263280
I have been wondering why more pillows (that use poly fill or stuff like this) didn't have a zipper or something to allow you to remove some or add some. Instead they all seem to come with enough fill to make it almost a ball... However, I did realize after my sister worked out that it was way cheaper to buy a $6 or less pillow at Wal-Mart or Dollar General or whatever and open it up for the poly fill than to buy poly fill at crafting stores (for making crochet stuffed animals) that if you were at all crafty ALL these pillows are adjustable with a seam ripper and a sewing machine lol.

I just bought a Coop body pillow which is adjustable.

I liked it when we could go to a Bed Bath & Beyond and try out the pillows. Got some good ones that way. The last time we went, before they closed all their stores, there was no real choice. We bought what they had, I don't even know the brand, and so far they've been okay. I hate the thought of having to find something to replace them which I know we will at some point.

I don't know if Pillowise (https://www.pillowise-usa.com/) are good or not but each time I go to my osteopath, I see this rack of pillow at the reception

I'd always assume they're massively overpriced to pay for having them on display at a doctors office. Same with the skin stuff at a dermatologist or hair care at a salon. For me Bed Bath and Beyond was vaguely interesting to walk through, but again it was 30%-50% more expensive than buying the same thing online or at other stores like Wal-Mart.

I'm a side sleeper. I had a down alternative pillow that I really liked, but it was getting old and worn out. When I saw a Sealy Sterling Collection Down-Alternative Pillow, 2-pack at Costco for $20, I thought it was worth a try. It's not quite a good as my other one, but it works for me. We've found that as we get older, we need more pillows for our pillow nests. DW needs 4-5 and I need 3-4.

We use Tempur-Pedic pillows (and mattresses).

Me too. And I just put together that the timing of my problems began when we replaced our 15yo Tempur-pedic with a new one and I found a tempur-pedic pillow that I loved. Well, that plus cancer, surgery, radiation, some extra stress, and shingles flare up.
