You aren't supposed to sell them and they aren't quite as easy to transfer as rci points. So there really isn't an open market. You should keep any price discussions and negotiations private or risk both parties losing access to their rci accounts.

We actually asked her to join us at the unit we booked with her t p u
Unfortunately, family obligations limited her availability to travel at that time
We considered it a blessing and a new friendship formed
I hope to pay it forward to soneone in the future
I want to say a BIG thank you to @salpalaz for the AMAZING TPUs. Additional thanks for agreeing to make the transfer payment before I had the chance to zelle over the money (we did a three way call). The rep just dropped the info on us in the middle of the call. The transfer was smooth once you found someone who knew what to do and didn't drop obstructions on the way. Took less than 24 hours to show up. Took a total of two calls to setup the weeks account and sort out misinformation, and another two conference calls to be able to complete the transfer. The first conference calls ended because the account was not set up correctly and the rep also provided inaccurate information (in other words, she should have been able to sort out the issue and proceed with the transfer).
Here is what I learnt during the process.
1. You don't need to pay for a week's account if you already pay for a points account. You DO need a unit that qualifies for a week's account though, and you have to have the weeks account created by RCI staff if you do not want to pay for it.
2. Combined TPUs are eligible for transfer.
3. The person giving up the TPUs is required to pay the transfer fee (98USD).
4. The points can be extended for at least another year (for now). You can do it once you have created the account, no need to call.
