How do I submit for the fror? We have friends who are also marriott vacation club owners that want to buy our points for $2 per pt.

We did get an email from our rep a few days ago that there is a special with triple bonus pts for anyone interested. Even on bundles she said do to the new hotel announcement.

But we are unfortunately going in a different direction at this point in our lives do to age and health.

I think you have a typo. You must want to ask about ROFR?

The other experts can weigh in. But I think you would want to get a sales contract worked up first. I would think LT Transfers can assist. From what I have read $2 per point is low and Marriott will probably buy back.

try this thread while you wait for replies- post #4 gives you the MVC contact email to request the form to submit yourself.

Sending info to Marriott ROFR

Just curious, has anyone sent information directly to Marriott ROFR? The Closing Agent we are using is on vacation and pretty backed up, and we are anxious to get the ball rolling. If we could do that part ourselves we thought it might speed up the process, but I have no idea how to reach...

Make sure they understand the additional $3 per point fee to MVC and the education fee if they don't have points or enrolled weeks already.

In the real estate/legal worlds they are used interchangeably, so you were not wrong in general. Though MVC calls it ROFR in most, if not all, CC&Rs.

Sales contract needs to be submitted with ROFR. LT transfers can send one to you to use. I would try the $2/point. I sold points at that price in February. Marriott did not exercise ROFR.
