If Hiltons were not an option and you didn't want to go back to Grand Chateau or Grand Desert again, where would you stay in Las Vegas? I can work in RCI or II.
  • We've been several times, so the strip isn't all that important to us.
  • We would probably go to visit friends for several days while we are there, so again, strip isn't important.
  • We don't gamble, so the strip isn't that important.
  • We would want to hang out at the resort more, so a great pool is more of a must.
  • I think Tahiti Village may have a bunch of renovation/construction happening. Any timeline on that?

Thanks. We stayed there in one of the Margaritaville rooms. Perhaps I should have indicated it was one we wouldn't want to go to again. It isn't really great for the off strip resort experience. Their pools are decent, but the resort doesn't have much else.

We had thought about going to The Cliffs at Peace Canyon because it is close to the Red Rocks Amphitheater and Red Rocks National Park. We haven't made it yet but from what I can tell the amphitheater has an excellent view.

We like The Grandview at Las Vegas and the casino next door - The South Pointe Casino, which has some good, reasonably priced places to eat, and other amenities. It is a quieter area, which we prefer. It is usually available on RCI.

Our favorite restaurant at the casino is The Big Sur Oyster Bay.

In RCI Last Call I see a property called "The Berkley", is this Grandview or something else?

The Berkley is located next to Siverton Casino. It is a little more upscale to The Grand View. One large building only. 20 floors or something.

I haven't been, but Worldmark Boulevard might be an option? It's off-strip and they have a lazy river.

Yes. It's near the South Point Casino and off strip. This WM is the biggest WM in Vegas. There is a lazy river and shallow area of the pool that can be laid in. The other two WM's are off strip and smaller. We like all three but the Blvd is my favorite.

Makes sense we prefer it because it's great for young kids with all of the activities that they have scheduled.

What stuff do you like to do then?
Grand Desert has the movie theater, Grand chateau has the outdoor screen at the pool what stuff do you do with other resorts that you like?

Wyndham Grand Desert is the only "great pool" location coupled with reasonable availability through RCI that I can think of.

If you want a change, I stayed at HIVC Desert Inn for one of their timeshare promotions and really liked it (excellent Extra Vacations availability through RCI). The pools are not as fancy as Tahiti Village or Grand Desert, but there are palm trees and you know you are in a Las Vegas pool. Plus when I was there for MLK weekend in 2024, I had any of the pools to myself most any time during the day, so probably the same for any less popular time.

Free parking, which is getting rarer and rarer at Las Vegas timeshares, and it is security guard gated, which is a definite plus in Las Vegas. Easy in/out access off Koval Lane versus something on Las Vegas Blvd. Walking distance to the MSG Sphere and LINQ with the associated mall for lots of places to eat without having to drive, then the short walk to the Strip and the fountains/dining at Bellagio and other Strip casinos. I had such a good time, I am signed-up for another timeshare presentation this fall and might book a full week using RCI Extra Vacations if the dates align.
