Yeah, I highly doubt this is sanctioned by corporate and likely that the higher ups at corp didn't even know such an event was being held. Though it doesn't dismiss them from culpability.
The sales team may be behind it, but it’s being pushed as a “resort activity.” I’m sure nothing actually comes of it, but Im not entirely sure the salespeople stupidity here wouldnt’ fall back on the HOA rather than Wyndham.
When I originally put that up, I wasn't thinking about copyright infringement. Saw a fair amount of the symbol used around town. Not sure how much was licensed.
My thought was that spending 3-4 hours with the sales staff would be less fun than jamming a stick into my eye.
Not a Wyndham owner, but I'd likely attend at least part of the watch party just for the socialization. It's not like they're going to have a contract for you to sign during the game.
