I was going to read @Timeshare Von's review of Wyndham Sea Gardens on TripAdvisor. TA has this little slide thingie, which I did but this was the result:

You have been blocked.
Why? Something about the behaviour of the browser has caught our attention.
There are various possible explanations for this:
  • You are browsing and clicking at a speed much faster than expected of a human being.
  • Something is preventing JavaScript from working on your computer.
  • There is a robot on the same network (IP 100.36.57.8) as you.
What's up with that? How do I find out if there is indeed a bot on my network using my IP address? And, what do I do about it if there is?

Are you using a VPN?

I'd try to use a network at a business...
Or is JavaScript disabled? Try activating.
Google: "how to enable JavaScript"

Mmmm that is very curious. I have found that both Trip Advisor and Cruise Critic (also part of the TA empire) can be very heavy handed in their moderation practices . . . and whenever there is a glitch in accessing (or even posting) content, I'm no longer surprised. I still don't know why my original posted link was reporting as having been removed.

A really frustrating thing is when a problem is resolved but you didn't do anything.

Sometimes I use VPN (Hotspot Shield), sometimes not. Today, I can access TripAdvisor regardless. I didn't do anything with Javascript.

I did read @Timeshare Von's review. It's a good one!

All the moderators on TA do, at least as far as I'm aware, is review posts and threads that have been reported to them. If you feel a post you made should not have been removed you can contact them to have it reinstated.

Thanks for your interest and appreciation of the review :)

Well as a past "Destination Expert" on Trip Advisor for many years, sometimes they have a little more power or authority than they should. In the forums where I am most active (and known/respected) there are never any issues. Wyoming never an issue . . . Alaska lots of egos in that group so I generally avoid them these days.
