Just got the 4th of July sale flyer in email for Costco. They are offering the Southwest gift cards at $429.99 while supplies last. Says the sale is for July 4 only.

Such a great deal. Thanks to Luanne. I am going to buy a few more today, so we will have a lot of travel funds to use. 4% cash back with the Costco Citi Visa makes it even better. Another $16+ savings. This is why I buy all of my gift cards for restaurants and movies at Costco. The refund checks are nice.
 
If only SWA had reasonable prices again. I’ve been searching over the last month for three flights I need and SWA is the *highest* of all the carriers. I was surprised, but it’s consistently more than others right now for my particular itineraries and dates.

They are still the cheapest for the routes we use. They also offer the only nonstops for us to the SF Bay area at reasonable times.

Not only is Southwest the most expensive on three trips I’m currently planning, but they have eliminated the nonstop flights from LA to Maui. And this is after factoring in baggage fees on the other carriers. There’s simply no reason to fly Southwest for me this year! So nope, not letting them have any of my money on account with a gift card.

For those of you that fly southwest, Costco is having a sale for their $500 gift card for $429. Ends tomorrow
