Frenchman’s cove search for II just matched what is EPLUS

Just received email that search for Frenchman’s cove was matched. It mentioned EPLUS for 3 retrades you can purchase. The original request was for st Thomas or Aruba surf club. Was thinking we might like Aruba surf club better. How does EPLUS work
 
Eplus is a program that you can purchase to allow you to do three additional retrades for no additional cost. It limits you to searching only what is available online. No OGS. If you think there is a chance you will have a change of plans, then Eplus can be good "insurance". It isn't technically insurance, but gives you added flexibility and the ability to retrade up to 14 days prior to checkin.

If you really prefer Aruba, call II and refuse the trade.
Then have them reinstate your request with only Aruba.

EPlus is great, but you have to manually search for your new exchange. Some people don’t mind that but both these destinations are very popular and inventory doesn’t sit online very long.
 
Exactly. If you truly want Surf Club, reject the match, and let the ongoing search keep on searching. You may not be able to trade into Aruba Surf with the e-plus (there is no guarantee).
 
When are you looking to go? I found this year Surf Club was a bit harder to trade into so I don’t think I’d want to rely on EPlus as you have to manually search everyday and trade power could weaken with EPlus (anecdotal evidence from my experience.)

Also my opinion having owned both is that Aruba Surf Club is much better! Better pools, plus lazy river (FC has one small pool with a slide), safer island, walkable to many restaurants and other resorts (have to rent a car in ST Thomas.) Surf is a bit crowded but so much fun! Casino two doors down.
