Ownership starts in 2025 - usage starts in 2026: I believe, and will verify, that you can deposit the 2026 week on Jan. 1, 2025 by paying the 2026 maintenance fee. I have deposited the 2024 week, but would be happy to use it for an exchange for the new owner, if they wish.

Cost to the new owner: Only the title transfer cost - estimated to be under $300 using Legal Timeshare Transfer.

50% of the maintenance fee is paid every year - in 2024 it was $518.44

This deed does not have Staroptions, but it's a great exchanger - we just have too many timeshares.

This resort exchanges both with RCI and Interval International.

Bravo Denise. I just wanted to say great job with your ad. You had solid examples as to why it would be a great timeshare for someone, had lots of details, a floor plan, and most importantly follow up. Too many times we see someone post an ad with scant details with the lead in of “I want to get rid of my timeshare.” It isn’t uncommon for them to never come back to the thread either.

Anyone who is serious about wanting to give away a timeshare should browse through the free giveaway forum to read the threads that were successful and emulate what they did.
