I am at the rooftop pool at Marriott Grand Chateau. Where or how can I exchange into this HGVC location. Looks new nice and shiny. Just curious

From Marriott? Not sure, someone else will need to weigh in on the mechanics of it.

As far as the resort itself, Elara is a great resort. Always look forward to our stays there. If you are interested in buying into the HGV system, Elara and Boulevard in Vegas are good properties to look for resale deeds at - good points:MF.

Does this resort trade in Interval? My timeshare house is not accepting new purchases.

Does the Westgate side trade in II? You might get some trades there. Even though this is an HGVC resorts, there are some intervals that are owned by Westgate and maybe there might be some weeks in II.

It trades in II as PHW. Here is current availability that I see.

Confirmed with my Marriott Grande Vista Studio. I see the exact same thing.
As you can see from my pic HGVC is sticking it in your face from the pool deck of the Marriott.

Then in the evening you can see clearly into to rooms of the Elara.
Makes it so tempting.

And the address of the Marriott is 75 Harmon Ave. The Elara is 80 Harmon Ave.

Something to think about for future trip.
Anyone know when the HGVC Elara as built and opened?
We walked across to the Starbucks yesterday. I recall last year when I saw John Legend at Planet Hollywood that I did see the entrance at some point that did have some signage with the Elara name.

We have stayed at both GC and Elara. Both are very nice. GC is standard MVC decor. Elara has a Vegas vibe to the decor and amenities which IMO I prefer. The one and two bedroom grands are huge and have full length projection TVs if you are a sports fan.

It was after 2008. If you want to see some of the history of the building, watch the movie "Queen of Versailles."
