I see the offer before logging on but when I log in, I don't see the offer and if I go all the way through to the part where it asks for a CC, I don't see the discount applied.

It says you have to "select" the discount, so it appears it does not automatically put it in...., I am going to try now

When I proceeded to the payment page this appears and I was able to select the discount.

Not sure but I think the prices are somewhat higher this week than 2 weeks ago, but maybe I am wrong, or it could be to accommodate the sale.

edit: I just checked and the same "getaway" is now $100 more than what we booked on August 22 and that is including the applied discount. I imagine the prices do fluctuates but I have to think the price was increased so that the "discount" appears better than it really is. With that said we are still looking at some additional getaways so we will most likely book a couple more in the next 72 hours.

We booked a 2 bedroom getaway for Sheraton Vistana Resort on August 22 for $379. That same unit is now $507. $457 with the 3 day discount so not too too bad.

No option or mention of the sale on mine.

Same on Chrome and explorer. The deal only shows when I am not logged in. It isn't even showing in my deals once logged in. I am platinum so may be they aren't giving any additional off or there is something wrong with my account.

Correction on my prior post. I don't see the offer in our Marriott corp II account (which is upgraded to II Platinum), but I do see it in our VSN corp account (no upgrades).

I just tried booking something on the app and I was able to see the discount pretty early in the process. Did you try clearing your cache?

This is so true. It is a big mistake to think you got a deal just because there was a sale. I also bought a getaway last week that is a better deal than you can get now.

If you see something that is a good deal and it brings you happiness, buy it. But you are not shopping smart if you only shop during a “sale.”
