Planning a stay there in late April 2024 and could use some resort info from those in the know. @Steve Fatula, I saw from a post that you really enjoyed your stay there ;)

-I know that it is contained within a JW Marriott property. Are the timeshare units in a particular section of the building or on certain floors? I'm hoping to get a high floor City view unit on the river end of the building to be away from the car or pool noise.

-Is parking free for owner reservations or II exchanges? I see it listed at 24 AUD a day on their general public website.

-I can tell from the balcony photos that Lagoon view units face north and City view face south. Beyond that is there any difference between one bedrooms or guest rooms within the unit views?

-From the one bedroom floor plan there's a device in one closet that looks like it could be a washer dryer. Is this correct?

Certain floors in the building....that are way too high to hear car or pool noise.

And someone just asked a similar question on FB about parking. My Marriott (hotel) confirmation from Feb 2020 said 15 AUD - but I don't remember if I had to pay it...and it didn't show up on my folio. That said, someone else chimed in and said they had to pay for parking six years ago.

No idea about the rest other than that we stayed in a Lagoon facing studio which was both wonderful and quite spacious. If you are there in the Australian summer I would highly recommend it - the JW reviews I read at the time said to avoid south facing rooms (if you could) because of the sun.

That's funny about the sun because in the southern hemisphere, it's the north facing windows that get all the sun instead! I know from living in New Zealand and Australia for 18 months a couple of years back. So the Lagoon side would be the one to avoid.
