Wyndham June 12 outage -is it back online yet?

I am a hybrid owner. And unable to book. When I called into Wyndham the booking agent had a struggle getting the upgrade. But was able to do so after a few minutes. She was very understanding of my plight and my frustrations. She shares them.

A question on Facebook makes me think they may have expanded the choosing between developer and resale points to non-VIP hybrid owners as well to accommodate Club Pass bookings. (Previously, no distinction was made when booking online.) Can any of our non-VIP hybrids confirm or deny?
I am a non VIP Hybrid owner. I don’t see anything different when I try to book. Although as I am typing this I realize that Next years point are all developer. My resale points are EOY ODD so i won’t see them until January 2025.

are you able to actually book something. I am NOT.

Only if I search from the dash board not the calendar search. I didn’t actually book but I was able to get all the way to where you put in your credit card. With the calendar search I couldn’t get past the point where you select the unit type.

I'm a VIP Silver Hybrid Owner. I wasn't able to book using developer points for National Harbor for Aug 2-4 (I did have to borrow points from next year to complete the booking). I was able to book using resale points. I'm using a MacBook Air - Monterey 12.6.6. I got the same response wether using Safari or Firefox browsers.

Also, I thought it was permissible to use both developer and resale points on a reservation but didn't see that option. Is that supposed to be a capability?

It is a capability. You book as a resale reservation and borrow the points from your developer allotment. There isn't a separate capability to search and book that way because your benefits for the booking are limited to resale benefits.

Hybrid owner. Can't book. Get this in step 4:

Cancelling out of that and trying a different variation I get an error when I select book:

This happened yesterday, too, the multiple transactions. I thought maybe I had done something stupid/wrong, but I doubt it at this point (since I'm seeing it again).

It's not you - I'm seeing the same thing repeatedly whenever attempting to make a developer points bucket reservation on step four. I haven't yet tried to make a resale reservation because my resale points bucket for my CUY is currently tapped out and I'm not quite ready to make a resale points reservation for a FUY just yet.

I got that also but after awhile (~15 mins ?) it let me book a resale transaction.

OK, Was trying to use up the rest of my developer points and try to use current resale points to complete the transaction. Thanks.

Yes - it's roughly a 15 minute timeout to expire the current transaction from what we have observed in the past.

It appears I can book using resale points - just not developer points. I don't receive the "something unexpected just happened" error on the last step when attempting to make a resale reservation in my FUY. I didn't actually commit the transaction - but best estimate the reported issue is scoped only to developer points reservations.

... so Wyndham wants us to all realize that resale points are better than developer points after all...?

I can now get into the website. After the several days downtown dO not see any difference However, the page with my current reservations is blank. Does anyone else have that problem?

Besides can not see my current reservations.

You might try the trick that worked for me to see reservations
after the first six. (It's pretty laborious, sigh.)

- click My Account -> Points Summary
- under TRANSACTION HISTORY, click Current Use Year -> All Use Years
- scroll down till you see a Resort Reservation transaction for the correct number
of Points. This may involve a *lot* of scrolling if you have a lot of reservations.
- Click the downarrow (reverse caret?) on that transaction to expand to multi-line
- Click View Transaction Details
* Voila!! Your transaction with all the details, including buttons for
Modify Reservation and Cancel Reservation

Extra credit: I noticed that the URL at this point has redirected to one specific
for this reservation, that can be used later to access this one entry faster later.
It looks like this:

Update:
As a resale CWS owner, the site consistently says my membership can't book some resorts, like Club Wyndham Reunion or Club Wyndham Palm-Aire. It seems like if a location has both Worldmark and Club Wyndham inventory, I can't book even the Club Wyndham side. But, I have no issues with resorts like Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek where there is no Worldmark component.

I am resale only as well. I just tried both of the resorts you mentioned, as well as Avenue Plaza (which is another shared resort). In every instance I was able to get all the way to the last screen of booking.

Stange. If I search for the resort, click View Monthly Availability, and enter the same dates, I'm able to book it. But on the dashboard search results it still says that resort is unavailable.

Yes, that is how I typically book.
I just tried doing it the way you were previously with the dashboard search, and I get the same "unavailable for your membership" (at least for Reunion. If I try searching for Avenue Plaza that way it does not even appear in the results).

I can’t even finish getting anyone on the customer service line. After 1 and 1 the phone goes dead. Trying to modify a reservation for the last 3 days. Online either get error or the blue wheel of death.

Found a different phone number and recording says closed for the holiday. WTH

Today is a Federal Holiday. That being said, I don't recall seeing anything about the call center being closed for it.
