Wyndham June 12 outage -is it back online yet?

I will be bird dogging the WorldMark website for 13-month inventory that I saw available for July 13-16 that cannot be booked until the WorldMark website is resurrected on the 16th or whenever.

@CO skier please keep us posted on the Worldmark user experience if you don't mind. The the volume of change for this extended outage is predominantly on the Worldmark side of the house - I am more than curious to see how this all works out on the Worldmark side of things - but I'm not a Worldmark owner myself - so I cannot play around with that site unfortunately.

We'll be at TOTG in Myrtle Beach towards the end of the month. I was surprised I got the "Your Vacation is Just Around the Corner" email yesterday. I guess they use a different system for that.
Correct - I just received a notification for a weekend getaway later this month as well. The code that sends these notifications isn't attached to the front end website system - it's part of the back end system - so it's likely still running without any issues.

At least the site now shows they are down. But I wanted to look up blackout owner dates, and even that is NOT accessible. Stupid.

It's a stretch to say without any issues. Maybe it's running as it normally does? My sister got a confirmation (the your vacation is just around the corner one) for a reservation she cancelled.

I was just able to Logon to my Worldmark Account. All my Reservations are still listed. But I have 70K+ extra Credits.

I'm in the Wyndham site. Looks fine the first 30 seconds on-line.

Edit: Just tried to add a night to a current reservation. Looks like it is available but "something unexpected . . . ."
Edit2: I took one Worldmark reservation to the point of making the $49 payment, then backed out.

Based on a sample of one, it looks like the upgrade was a success!

Everything looks okay in my information, though the spinning blue circles to load data seem very slow today.

I did a search to see what happens with regard to Worldmark resorts, since for me there should be essentially no change. In a dashboard/map date search, I searched for Daytona because Ocean Walk is co-branded. That search picks up Daytona and Orlando resorts. For the resorts that are co-branded, the Club Wyndham versions of co-branded resorts (Ocean Walk, Reunion, Kingstown Reef) came up as "Resort unavailable for your membership." The Worldmark versions of those resorts did not come up in the search results at all. So the Wyndham-only resorts would show me available suites in those search results, but the co-branded Wyndham resorts wouldn't. But if I click through to one of those resorts and check the monthly availability calendar, it gives me many bookable suites for the same dates. So this is a bug.

I just got in and checked my vacations and points. Everything looked good. I didn’t try to do anything yet. I want to wait to see if it stays up or if this is just a brief window of access.

The transfer of my very first Wyndham deed completed yesterday. Today I was able to set up my account and see that I have this year's full allotment of points. I was also able to search for availability and book a reservation (I think). When I clicked "book" it gave me the "something unexpected happened" message, and the Upcoming Reservations page just spins the blue circle and fails to load. But in my transaction history page it shows a debit of the points cost of the reservation I attempted, so it may have booked?

Wow! That's a lot for one day! You might try exiting, logging back in and looking for the reservation in your Vacations list.

Logging out did work, and this time the Vacations page loaded, showing the reservation.

online but getting some odd messaging. Refresh fixed some of the issues, but it not completing a booking, I am getting a endless circle and no completion

  • Having issues with not completing booking (get something unexpected happened (see image below) and if you try again then transaction timed out and could not be completed)
  • Having issues with not showing current reservations (fixed with refresh but came back later)
  • Having issues with showing resorts not available for my membership type (fixed with refresh but came back later)
  • Getting a blank and odd dropdown box at the top of the search screen (see image below)

Anything else?

GRRRRRR, I need to make a booking. That is just teasing now, you open back up the website, but no reservations can be made.

Someone reported extra credits on WM account. Well I have credits missing. However when I logged out and relogged back in, the credits did show up.

I just received this email.

And when you book online instead of calling the Vacation Planning Center, you'll take advantage of a deeply discounted Club Pass Exchange Fee.

This new feature is yours to explore today. Just click below to learn more and review the FAQs. Then, all that's left is to start your adventure.

So, I tried. First, got a 504 Gateway error. Tried again and got the ”Something unexpected just happened”, which I expected.

Strangely, about 5 minutes before I received the email that the site was now available, I had logged in and got to my dashboard. It said I have no upcoming vacations. Of course, I have several. Including a checkin tomorrow at Majestic Sun for DW.:(

No getting in, and didn't get email. par for the course for wyndham.

For me, that was a drop-down with all of the resort names, presumably to be able to search from the availability calendar without having to go to each resort's individual page. I meant to go back and look at it more closely but didn't get around to it.
Anything else?
I made a dummy reservation to test an unrelated question, and I swear that instead of the 15 minute booking countdown they gave me, like, 3 minutes. But then I went back to start another booking to see, and of course it gave me 15 minutes like normal. So keep an eye out for that and prove that I'm not crazy. :)
