Any pools better than Kings' Land in the HGVC system?

The only other HGVC I have been to is Sunrise Lodge and Marbrisa. Marbrisa pool is good but nowhere close to Kings' Land. There are 3 water slides plus one for the toddlers. The landscaping is incredible. We loved our time at the pool.

We are planning our summer 2023 trips and my daughter wants to go back to Kings' Land because she just loved that pool and the water slides.

What other HGVC locations have pools comparable or better than Kings' Land? We might think about those in the future.

Not at all:
HHV (Waikiki)
Orlando Las Palmeras
Orlando Parc Soleil
Sunrise Lodge
LV Paradise
LV Elara
MarBrisa

Quite okay:
LV Boulevard
... But probably not anywhere close to Kings' Land, given the pictures I've seen. Going to KL this Christmas!

The pool at Kingsland is the best one I have experienced at a HGV resort, IMO. However, the best one I have been to using my Club points would have to be at the Grand Mayan, Nuevo Vallarta (it can be booked directly through HGV, but is a Vidanta property).

I can second that about the Grand Mayan at Nuevo Vallarta. Another easy trade through RCI would be orange lake river island resort in Orlando. Awesome pools/slides/lazy river. And an easy trade to get.

We really like the Kingsland pool, i will also add the pool at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel as a great pool. The HGV Ocean tower is co-located at the HWV hotel and you can use the pool. But you can also access the hotel pool if you stay at Kingsland or Kohala Suites.

What about Tuscany (Orlando)? There are 2 pools that are quite nice - no slides AFAIK.

Yeah, KL is a thing unto itself. Even for those without kids who may not be interested in the slides, the adult area hot tub is very nice and a great place to chat with folks. The cold plunge is nice, too. And, for those who do have kids, there's just that much more.

The smaller Serenity Pool (over by buildings 3&4) is very nice for adults as well.

We were impressed on our first stay last Thanksgiving, Going same time this year. I'm sure you will enjoy your Christmas visit!

Cheers.

Kingsland is a gorgeous pool, and it is the best I have seen at any resort.

I was REALLY dissapointed when they removed the water feature at Tuscany/I-drive. It was never the same. That used to be our go to place (3-4 times a year). The sound of falling water justs take it to another level.

The HHV Lagoon pool was really nice, but not nearly as large as what i see in the Kings Land pics. The main pool att HHV was nice but had no real water features. The Kings land pool looks amazing.

It's another system, but I am quite fond of the Hyatt Coconut Plantation pool and lazy river.

Good to know. I also have an HRC week, so I will put this on our list when we do an Orlando trip.

Coming from a full-time traveler like you, this is a huge vote of approval. I'm glad we are making plans to go back again this year and next to Kings Land.

What about La Pacifica, Barbados, or Cabo Azul? I haven't been to any of these but wonder.

The pools at Fiesta Americana Cabo are nice. (Swim up bar but no water slide AFAIK - multiple spas. Adult features)

I will take a look.

I think that the pools at Fiesta Americana - Cabo are great. You have about 5 different ones to pick from.

Has the Wailea Beach Resort upgraded their slide? I remember them only having one and it wasn't all that special.

Been to both LaP and Cabo. Both have multiple amazing pools. Cabo Azul and LaP has a separate pool with a kid slide and play area. Not sure better than Kingsland. Just different. Hard to compare.

That's not a HGVC resort, so not really in the running for this thread.
