Resorts Owned
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort; Wyndham Bonnet Creek; Wyndham Bali Hai; Wyndham Canterbury; Wyndham Grand Desert; Marriott Grand Chateau
By way of background, I purchased my first contract with Wyndham via ebay in October. Escrow Agent is Resort Closings and they sent the paperwork to Wyndham on November 4th. Since then I've been waiting with no real updates. Today, I get three emails in rapid succession from sender "confirmation," coming from "confirmation@paymentus.com with the subject "Requested Change to Your Wyndham Destinations account." The body reads: "Your password was reset." Sign in at https://ipn.paymentus.com/cp/wdhm?lang=en

That email came through three times all at 9:01 am. I reached out to the agent I was working with at Resort Closings but haven't heard back yet. Is that a normal and legitimate part of Wyndham setting something up for me, or should I be worried that something else is going on? Thanks in advance!

paymentus is Wyndham's payment portal. It sucks and is not nearly as good as the old payment system, but it is what it is. I would say your timeshare is transferred.

So what should I do now? Keep waiting to hear, or affirmatively reach out to someone at Wyndham to take the next steps? (I'm desperately hoping to book a reservation over Christmas using home resort priority for Bonnet Creek, so I am getting close to the 10 month window). Thanks in advance!

Do what makes you feel comfortable making the transaction.

I would definitely call Wyndham to see if they can help you get logged in. I'd guess if not already, your account is within a day or two of being ready to use.

Thanks! Which phone number should I call? My wife and I are very excited, thanks again to everyone who has given great advice.

Call Wyndham directly and have them help you set up your account for booking reservations.

I have always called a different number for VIP. I had no idea the numbers changed. I still call the number I have in my phone and it works.

Thanks Everyone!

I noticed the other day that phone numbers on the contact us page (at least when logged in) appear to be dynamic. The new/seasoned owner phone numbers changed for me multiple times in one day. I googled, and apparently that's a thing.

So, if the queue or wait time gets too long on one number, the website moves on to the next call-in number?

I don't care who you are, that right there's funny!

This may be unfair to Paymentus, a common payment/billing platform.

For certain, Wyndham's implementation of Paymentus sucks but it may be due to the lack of data integrity at Wyndham. Corrupt data will make anything look bad and Wyndham's various databases seem to be little more than collections of corrupt data.

Paymentus can't be as bad as what we've seen or it couldn't survive. We can't expect Paymentus to clean up Wyndham's data problems. GIGO

For future reference, if you own at Bonnet Creek, you'll be able to book at 13 months out.

Why don't you call title services with the contract number and confirm it has been processed to your account? I'm guessing you already checked your club Wyndham portal and don't see it there yet?

I’m a new member, this is my first contract, I don’t have a club wyndham portal account yet. I was giving it another day but still nothing so I’m going to call tomorrow. Where do I get my contract number from? Is that just the “Doc Number” on the upper right hand corner of the deed?

Probably that is the correct number for your deed. You can maybe register yourself online.

I want to thank everyone again for the help! I was able to call and get my account number and contract number and set up my online account.
